Excerpt: Just before they entered the room, something snapped through my ears at the sound of her voice, but it was nothing I could place, nothing I could pin down with certainty. We all stood to greet her, and as soon as I got the first glimpse of her dress, everything around me slowed to a sluggish, weighted crawl. Blue-green eyes. When it all snapped together, I lost my breath in a pained whoosh. This could not be happening. The bombshell Effect was a great read! I am a sucker for single dads and Luke does not disappoint. I really liked the dynamic between Allie and Luke! They have amazing chemistry and are just so adorable!!!! I read a romance novel for the ride. In most cases you know they are going to end up together but its how they get there that matters. And this story does not disappoint. The author has this really great writing style. Everything flowers together really well. There was enough backstory without it being too much or too little. It made me OMG quite a few times! I enjoyed how it showed that just because a family comes from money doesn’t automatically equate to happiness. I think too often we see celebrities or people who are rich and envy them or think WOW! They have such an amazing life. But what sacrifices are made for that rich luxurious life?Author Bio:
